Mulches range from chips to earth-like material.
Most have a reddish-brown appearance. If there is a special color

- Wood chip or bark nugget
We have three basic types for these mulches.
- Sliver and stick
We recommend our cedar chips (3/4" and smaller).
The cedar chips are reddish-brown in color.
- Flakey to a fine sawdust
We recommend our fir bark humus (1/4" and smaller).
It is reddish-brown to dark brown in color.
- Square and rounded
We recommend the small fir bark (up to 3/4" in size).
They are reddish-brown to brown in color.
- Shredded Mulch
We recommend either the shredded redwood bark (reddish-brown
color) or the shredded cedar bark (lighter reddish-brown).
Both of these products lay down like a carpet and are best
for slopes.
- Fine, compost-like material
We recommend our compost, or if you prefer a finer material,
we recommend the premium compost. These are dark brown in
color.
